Prove Me Wrong! Hey Richard, should I build a 383 Stroker out of my Turbo 4.8L/5.3L? The answer is actually no, you don’t need the expense of the extra displacement when you have boost. The difference between the 5.3L and 383 would be 1-2 psi, and the turbo would ultimately decide how much power the combo makes (regardless of the displacement). In fact, a bigger motor might make less if it gets into the flow limit of the hot side! Let me know ow your thoughts! | Richard Holdener
