1.5K views · 91 reactions | This is an animation of the Mayfield tornado as it showed up on Doppler Radar (the left-hand image is the most common Doppler data/colors, the right-hand one shows the wind velocities clearly wrapping around the center of rotation). It was at last an E-F3 tornado (which was like our West Liberty and Salyersville tornadoes), but further analysis may well give it a higher rendering.
