🌊 The Striped Red Mullet (Mullus surmuletus) is a small, colourful fish commonly found in Maltese waters. Recognised by its reddish body with yellowish stripes along the sides and two long chin barbels used to search for food on the seabed, it prefers sandy and rocky bottoms.
