In 2010, my partner Eric McNair-Landry and I crossed 2,300 km of the Greenland ice sheet, from South to North, using skis and kites. During that 42 days trip, we set a new world record for the longest distance travelled over one continuous 24-hour period, with 595km. That record still stands today.
