The Talimena Scenic Drive is a 54-mile-long route that passes over the Ouachita mountains and winds through the Ouachita national forest between southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. While beautiful any time of the year, the region comes alive in the fall with vibrant foliage of gold and red among the green.
