This year is the Year of Monkey. And when speaking of monkeys in China, the first thought is always of the Monkey King. A fictional character based on ancient tales, the character was then enriched by the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West" written some four hundred years ago. The Monkey King is a hero to many Chinese people.
