Scottish Power Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Christopher Armstrong BEM, march in starting their Grade 1 bands medley final at the 2025 European Pipe Band Championships. St Laurence O' Toole Pipe Band (Eire) led by Pipe Major Alen Tully, march in for the their Grade 1 bands medley competition final at the 2025 European Pipe Band Championships. These were held in the City of Perth, Scotland, on Saturday 9th August 2025. Barrhead & District Pipe band, led by Pipe Major Iain Grant, playing as they marched to the 2025 Pitlochry Highland Games. This was on Saturday 13th September 2025, after they had taken part in the street paarde and were making their way to the Games. Barrhead & District have had a very good year, winning their first outdoor competition of the season in May at Gourock, then winning at Innerleithen and Ardrossan. The massed pipe bands playing Highland Laddie outside Inverurie Town Hall in salute to the Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire, Sandy Manson. This marked the end of the 2025 Garioch Pipe Band Championship, held at Kellands Park in Inverurie.
